Decks, pools and boundaries

When a new deck, a boundary fence and a pool are all going in, it helps to have one crew on the deck and the fences. The levels, materials and finishes line up, and there's one person to deal with.

Timber choice near the bush

Parts of the Peninsula are designated bushfire prone areas, which can affect what timber can be used for a deck close to the house. Spotted gum is one of the hardwoods often used where bushfire rules apply. Your building surveyor will confirm what's needed for your site.
